Man of Sorrows
Walking the ever-expanding line between hardcore and metal, Man Of Sorrows are a band pushing the boundaries of both genres. The old and new schools crash head to head in a delightful pummeling of pressurized, heavy-hitting adrenaline rock. With nods to 80s hardcore and metal as well as taking inspiration from the current metalcore scene, Man Of Sorrows are also quite evidently creating a unique sound all their own. Clear, crunchy guitars pierce bone. Thumping, low-end bass provides depth. Manic, driving drum beats circle your ears. All this lined with tribal and Latin-style percussion and you have an original new blend of sound that challenges current categorizations of metal and hardcore. The heavy music is complimented by equally heavy songwriting that challenges listeners to look deeper into the spiritual makeup of their own lives. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Damian Muñoz screams, wails, and croons through the daily struggles and victories we all share. Haunting melodies, anxious rhythms, and a mighty whirlwind of breakneck beats swirl together and conclude in a dissonant catharsis---where acrimony and comfort collide to form peace. Be teleported on a spiritual journey of your soul through these songs of redemption, wrath, love, and discovery. This is the new sound of Christian
Metal.
